Ashton Associates was established in 2012 and headquartered in Kamloops BC, Ashton & Associates Recruiting is, in every sense of the word, a team. We’re head-hunters, recruiters and human resource consultants headed up by our founder and President, Barbara Ashton.

Ashton consultants have over 60 years of combined business experience, helping hundreds of companies hire literally thousands of top industry people.

The firm has a branch office in Kelowna and we are affiliated with select executive search, leadership development, human resource and recruiting firms from Ontario west.

Recruiting A-level players for BC Employers of Choice is what we do best. We serve these diverse industry leaders primarily focusing on the BC Okanagan, Interior and Lower Mainland marketplaces.

Barbara Ashton is a no-limits headhunter serving BC’s Okanagan Interior. With over 30 years of executive search and recruiting experience, her success is guided by her ability to build and maintain exceptional relationships at all levels. Charles Hurtubise

Originally from Montreal, Charles has been calling British Columbia home since 1995. He brings with him a wealth of experience building customer care teams, garnered through 20 years in leadership with award-winning environments like Araxi Restaurant and Bar (Whistler) and the Westin Whistler Resort and Spa, and Waterfront Wines (Kelowna), as well as coming from one of the top sales training programs in the country.

A graduate of the International Sommelier Guild’s diploma program, Charles has received multiple awards and is excited to be working with Ashton & Associates Recruiting. For him, as well as the rest of the Ashton team, this is an excellent opportunity to consolidate his leadership skills and experience with a goal that is extremely important to him: helping people to grow and succeed. Her strength lies in establishing and developing HR processes, and working directly with business owners and C-suite executives. She is very sensitive as to how HR decisions impact the bottom line.

Trish holds a Masters Degree, majoring in Human Resources,as well as a Degree in International Management, and a Diploma in Human Resource Management.

Amelia is owner of Higher Options Consulting Services and is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a BC Commissioner of Oath.

She enjoys volunteering with various non-profit organizations to support educational opportunities for training and development. As a result, she brings an in-depth knowledge of immigration policy grounded in real-life experience to the challenges of expatriate and new immigrant work.

Amelia is passionate about operational excellence and employee engagement. A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and creative problem solver with a hands-on approach, her core knowledge extends to many aspects of HR including performance management, recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and individual/executive coaching.
